OECD raised its 2026 headline inflation forecast for Türkiye to 31.5% and the 2027 forecast to 24.7%. It revised growth expectations downward.
It was recalled that annual inflation peaked at 85.5% in late 2022. It was noted that after tightening, a downward trend began, and energy and fertilizer costs continue to be a hurdle.
