Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan chaired the Annual Coordination Meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in New York. Gaza and Palestine were among the topics on the agenda.
In his speech at the meeting he led within the framework of the 51st term presidency, Fidan addressed the situation in Gaza and Palestine as well as issues concerning Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Sudan and Somalia. He touched on the organization's role in protecting the rights of Muslim minorities.
