Mithat Sinan Bolak, the son of former TÜSİAD President Ümit Boyner, for whom an arrest warrant had been issued in the İBB case, was detained at Istanbul Airport upon his entry into Türkiye.
After his procedures, Bolak is expected to be referred to the court hearing the case. At the hearing on September 22, arrest warrants were issued for 5 defendants for not appearing. Bolak had previously said he lived abroad and would come to Türkiye as soon as possible.
