TPAO's oil exploration permit in Şırnak was extended until 22 October 2028. The decision was published in the Official Gazette through an action by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
The permit, covering an onshore area of 42,447 hectares, was extended after an evaluation of the institution's application. The decision entered into force through the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs' regulation on the petroleum right.
