Inspections by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry found forbidden dye in three spice brands, and a saffron product was also added to the list of counterfeit and adulterated products.
Tomurcuk Baharat's sausage mix, Değirmen Tarsus's sumac and Tanın Telbisoğlu's ground red pepper were found to contain dye that violates regulations. In addition, Mihrabat's saffron was included in the list of counterfeit and adulterated products. The Ministry also announced that it found horse meat and offal in minced meat.
