Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı said this year's crop production forecast has exceeded 140 million tons, the highest figure in the history of the Republic. Yumaklı also noted that Türkiye ranks 7th globally in agricultural output.
At the "Türkiye Century Meetings" program in Edirne, Yumaklı stated that favorable climate conditions and the sector's strong infrastructure contributed to reaching this figure. The minister also announced that 5.3 billion dollars in financing will be provided over 10 years under a project signed with the World Bank.
