Ali Tarakcı was arrested by the Ankara 8th Criminal Judgeship of Peace on a charge of publicly disseminating misleading information in the investigation over his post saying "A very important minister will resign on Friday." His social media account was also blocked.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is conducting the investigation. The Ankara 7th Criminal Judgeship of Peace ordered the access block on grounds of protecting national security and public order.
