Family and Social Services Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş called on local governments to develop family-friendly projects at the opening of AileFest at the Rami Library in Istanbul.
Göktaş said 58% of households had no children under 18. Stressing the need for screen-free time amid growing digitalisation, she said the festival continued last year's three-day event in Yedikule.
