The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) referred Okan Buruk for "unsportsmanlike conduct" and Lesley Ugochukwu for "illegal action" to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK). Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı, Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan and other club presidents were also sent to discipline.
The referrals cite "ugly and bad chanting", "field incidents" and "actions contrary to instructions" in the Trabzonspor-Galatasaray match played on 19 September. Fenerbahçe were referred over chanting in the Eyüpspor match, and coach Dirk Kuyt was referred for "action contrary to instructions".
