The Interior Ministry announced that 3,810 people were detained in an operation targeting online posts after the school attacks in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş and the incident in Manisa. Of the suspects, 304 were arrested, 1,163 were placed under judicial control and 2,336 were released; proceedings against 7 people are ongoing.
Access was blocked to 12,141 internet addresses, including digital games and Telegram channels said to steer children toward violence. The General Directorate of Security examined online posts on the instructions of Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi. Measures were also taken over 33 posts containing calls for gatherings, press statements and marches.
