State Supervisory Council (DDK) Chairman Salih Tanrıkulu left his posts at Borsa Istanbul (BIST) after President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's instruction on oversight of funds in capital markets.

The departure was said to have been decided to conduct the process with full impartiality and independence and to avoid any differing public assessment. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had commented on the fund investigation at the AK Party's provincial chairmen meeting.
