SPK bans 11 over Özata Denizcilik trades, revokes 5 licences

The Capital Markets Board (SPK) filed criminal complaints against 11 people over trading in Özata Denizcilik shares and imposed a 2-year trading ban on them. The Board cancelled the licences of 5 of them for the duration of the ban.

45 people arrested in fund investigation, procedures continue for 14 suspects

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that legal proceedings were carried out against 76 suspects within the scope of the fund investigation and 45 people were arrested. Judicial control was applied to 5 people, arrest warrants were issued for 12, and procedures for 14 suspects are ongoing.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office froze approximately 387 million lira in accounts as part of the fund investigation it is conducting with MASAK. The amount frozen and seized in three transactions reached approximately 750 million lira.

15 detained in fund investigation, assets of 9 companies frozen

In the KTLEV investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 15 out of 25 suspects were detained and 10 are sought. Justice Minister Gürlek announced that assets of 9 companies were frozen; the Capital Markets Board (SPK) extended the liquidation period of 131 funds to six months.

Tera Yatırım board members Bülent Uygun and Abdulkadir Özkan have been detained. In the investigation, it was previously determined that Serdar Turhan transferred 15 million dollars and Muhammed Yarız transferred 25 million euros to Switzerland, and Nihat Kırmızı was also detained.
