MİT President İbrahim Kalın met with Afghanistan Intelligence General Directorate Head Abdulhak Vasık, Deputy Prime Minister Molla Abdul Gani Baradar, Defence Minister Muhammed Yakub Mücahid and Interior Minister Siraceddin Hakkani in Kabul and Kandahar. Security and intelligence cooperation were discussed.
During the meetings, bilateral relations, counter-terrorism and regional developments were discussed. Tensions between the US-Israel and Iran were also assessed. Kalın's visit is expected to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
