In an operation at a fig facility in the Köşk district of Aydın, 25 tons of unlabeled dried figs with a market value of approximately 20 million liras were seized, and a fine of 236 thousand liras was imposed on the facility owner.
The operation was carried out by teams from the Security Branch Directorate of the Provincial Police Department. Officials from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry imposed an administrative fine for unregistered activity and failure to comply with hygiene rules under Law No. 5996.
