30 members resign from CHP in Ankara council

Thirty members resigned from CHP in the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Assembly, reducing the party's assembly seats to 11. Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş had left the party on September 23, followed by district mayors.

Yavaş announced his resignation on his social media account, saying he would continue his political life as an independent. After the departures in the district municipalities, CHP is left with the Etimesgut and Yenimahalle municipalities in Ankara.
