Credit volume falls to 28.2 trillion lira, non-performing loans rise

According to data from the banking regulator BDDK, credit volume fell to 28.2 trillion lira as of September 18. Non-performing loans rose by 9 billion 267 million lira to 876 billion 498 million lira.

Consumer loans decreased by approximately 24 billion lira to 3.45 trillion lira. Of this, approximately 835 billion lira is housing loans and 2.57 trillion lira is personal finance loans.

Total deposits increased by approximately 388 billion lira to 32.55 trillion lira.
