Consumers' Union President and lawyer Hasan Oğuz Altınkaynak said actors appearing in advertisements for savings finance companies could face compensation and criminal liability if they give assurances contrary to the facts.
Altınkaynak noted that if an actor continues appearing in advertisements despite knowing about the company's payment difficulties and gives assurances such as 'Your money is safe', this could lead to criminal liability. The warning came amid ongoing investigations into these companies.
