Detained Istanbul Mayor and presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, in the investigation he called the 'Century Heist Fund Scam,' demanded the dismissal of the Capital Markets Board (SPK) and the determination of political connections.
In his written statement on the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, İmamoğlu said, "This is essential for the well-being of the investigation," advocating the immediate dismissal of SPK managers, members, and those with audit authority, and the conduct of all procedures without discrimination among "friends, relatives, and cronies."
