Funds of seven portfolio companies closed, 131 funds enter liquidation process

On September 17, the Capital Markets Board (SPK) closed the Electronic Fund Trading Platform (TEFAS) funds of Tera, Pusula, Hedef, Atlas, A1, Pardus and Bulls Portföy to buying and selling; according to BirGün's calculations, the 223 funds of these companies total approximately 1.10 trillion lira in size, with 932,000 investors.

The 130 funds initially decided to be liquidated have a size of approximately 826 billion lira and cover 515,000 investors. The liquidation process will be carried out by İş Bank for Tera Portföy and by Ziraat Bank for the other six companies. One of Tera's senior executives was also detained.
