The Türkiye Cinema Festival will be held on 26-27 September in 75 provinces at approximately 1,500 venues. Tickets for 17 films will cost 90 lira for two days.
At the festival, held for the second time, more than 780,000 people went to cinemas last year. This year's tickets went on sale on 21 September. The event is organised by the Cinema Hall Investors Association under the sponsorship of GNÇ.

It was determined that the cuneiform tablet piece found in Hattuşa, the Hittite capital in Çorum, belongs to one of the copies of the Kadesh Peace Treaty. Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced the discovery.
