Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek will return from the US today at noon. Seven portfolio management companies have 455,758 investors in 131 funds, and their liquidation and payments will be discussed under his chairmanship.
According to information obtained from the Treasury and Finance Ministry, the talks are expected to continue tomorrow. The SPK had extended the 3-month period in the liquidation process to 6 months on 21 September. Protecting investor rights will be a top priority in the work.
