President Tufan Erhürman of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) said he did not reject a trilateral meeting proposal from Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Christodoulides, but said progress was needed.
Erhürman said he told the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres's personal envoy, who conveyed the proposal, that he was ready to attend if agreement was possible on several confidence-building measures and if Guterres's schedule allowed.
