Coordinated by intelligence agency MİT, the Cybersecurity Directorate and the Gendarmerie General Command raided Ankara-based Aydo Yazılım; five people, including the company owner and employees, were detained. It was determined that a query interface allowing access to third parties' data had been added to the software.
It was determined that the software developed by the company had a search interface allowing access to information of people who were not union members. The databases also contained records of minors under 18. It drew attention that Aydo Yazılım also provided KVKK consultancy.
