Mass production begins for national high-speed train, targeting 14 sets in two years

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that mass production has begun with the second set of TÜRASAŞ's national high-speed train, the first set reached 250 km/h in tests, and 14 sets are targeted for 2027–2028.

The train sets, consisting of 8 cars and with a capacity of 577 passengers, are being developed with domestic engineering. The Train Control and Management System and the Traction System are produced domestically and nationally in cooperation with ASELSAN. Minister Uraloğlu stated that they aim for a total of 14 sets over two years, 7 in 2027 and 7 in 2028.
