İzmir 6th Heavy Penal Court accepted the indictment concerning 19 people, including former Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer. Soyer and former İZBETON General Manager Heval Savaş Kaya are accused of aiding embezzlement.
Embezzlement charges were directed against names including former CHP İzmir provincial chair Şenol Aslanoğlu. The first hearing will be held on 18 November. Soyer's lawyers argued in a written statement that there was no unjust gain.
