The Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Committee Investigating the Causes of School Attacks visited İnci Üzmez Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Manisa Turgutlu, where 11 students were injured. Committee Chair Yusuf Beyazıt gave information about the work.

Committee Chair Yusuf Beyazıt said that school attacks had taken place in Şanlıurfa Siverek on April 14 and in Kahramanmaraş on April 15, and that the committee had therefore been established with the alliance of all parties. Beyazıt stated that they had met with academics, unions and NGOs, and had made school visits in different provinces.
