The British Royal Air Force (RAF) said two Turkish pilots have begun Eurofighter Typhoon training at RAF Coningsby base.
The pilots will receive up to nine months of flight training with No. 29 Squadron, which handles conversion training for the type. They will then take a three-month instructor course and serve as instructors in the squadron until Türkiye is due to receive its first new aircraft in 2030. The agreement between Türkiye and the United Kingdom covers 20 aircraft.
