Latest in the series Turkish center denies claimed Syria-Hezbollah meeting
Representatives of the Syrian government and Hezbollah met secretly in Türkiye at least once last month to ease tensions between them. The meeting was reported to be the first known face-to-face contact between the sides.
Six sources speaking to Reuters said Syrian intelligence and Foreign Ministry officials and Hezbollah representatives attended the meeting. It was claimed the meeting took place at the invitation and mediation of Türkiye's security and intelligence institutions.
