The Turkish Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Houthis' attack on civilian infrastructure serving the Prophet's Mosque in Medina and said the attacks must stop immediately.
The ministry said provocative attacks threatening Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and security and targeting the Islamic world's sacred values were unacceptable. It stressed that Türkiye reiterated its strong support for Saudi Arabia and that steps escalating regional tension must be avoided.
