Latest in the series Greek Cypriot official admits Türkiye blocked power link project

The Turkish Defence Ministry (MSB) said it will not allow any unauthorised activity on its continental shelf over the power cable route between Greece and the Greek Cypriot administration.

It said cable and pipeline laying and scientific research on the continental shelf must be coordinated with Türkiye in advance under international law. It stressed no unauthorised activity will be allowed on the shelf shaped by maritime deals with the KKTC and Libya.
