According to DİSK-AR's September report, the broad unemployment rate rose to 31% in August, and the gap between narrow and broad unemployment reached 23.2 points.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) put narrow unemployment at 7.8% for August. DİSK-AR calculated the broadly defined unemployed at 12.608 million.
