Latest in the series First hearing held in case over singer Güllü's death
The trial over the death of singer Gül Tut, who died after falling from her home's window in Yalova on 26 September 2025, begins tomorrow. Aggravated life imprisonment is sought for her daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter and up to 4 years in prison for her friend Sultan Nur Ulu.
The indictment prepared after the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office completed its 11-month investigation was accepted. Gülter will be tried on a charge of "premeditated intentional killing of an ascendant" with a request for aggravated life imprisonment.
