34 kilograms 400 grams of cocaine seized at Istanbul Airport

Customs Enforcement teams of the Turkish Trade Ministry seized 34 kilograms 400 grams of cocaine in two separate operations at Istanbul Airport. The drugs were found in the luggage of passengers arriving from South America and Africa.

In the first operation, 13 kilograms 480 grams of liquid cocaine were found in the cabin baggage of a passenger arriving from South America. In the second, 20 kilograms 920 grams of cocaine hidden in shower gel bottles and a vaseline box in the suitcases of a passenger from Africa were seized.
