The Afyon Keyf-i Sucuk brand, placed on the Turkish Agriculture and Forestry Ministry's imitation and adulteration list, was found to belong to Efe Selahattin Mühsürler, son of Afyonkarahisar Commodity Exchange Chairman Mehmet Mühsürler.
The ministry's laboratory analyses found "mechanically separated poultry meat" was used in the product in breach of regulations. The brand's registration with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office is recorded in the name of Efe Selahattin Mühsürler.
