Turkish intelligence agency MİT caught Ömer el-Hatip, one of the Syrian perpetrators of the 2013 attack in Reyhanlı that killed 53 people, as he was about to flee to Europe by sea.
Details of the operation have not yet been disclosed. No information was given on el-Hatip's detention process or his transfer to Türkiye.
