  • President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with the economic management in Ankara over developments in the fund investigation and announced that he had tasked the State Supervisory Council. A board chaired by the Vice President was formed to coordinate the liquidation process.

304 arrested after school attacks, access blocked to 12,141 addresses

The Interior Ministry announced that 3,810 people were detained in an operation targeting online posts after the school attacks in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş and the incident in Manisa. Of the suspects, 304 were arrested, 1,163 were placed under judicial control and 2,336 were released; proceedings against 7 people are ongoing.
