Former Capital Markets Board (SPK) Chairman İbrahim Ömer Gönül gave a statement as a suspect in the fund investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and left the courthouse. Six suspects in custody were referred to the courthouse.

The number of detainees in the investigation has reached 56. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had previously requested financial data on company executives from MASAK.
