A review by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) found 629 million lira in inflows to the accounts of a public prosecutor in Mardin between 2017 and 2026. The Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) suspended the prosecutor for three months as a precaution.
The accounts of prosecutor Y.D.'s wife showed about 83.5 million lira in transactions in 2025 and about 287 million lira in 2026. MASAK reported its findings to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
