Graduated gas tariff will double bills for users exceeding the limit

Under the graduated natural gas tariff the Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Ministry will apply for the first time this winter, bills for 2.8 million subscribers exceeding the province-based limit will double as the state subsidy is lifted.

Secure payment transition in real estate put off to Dec. 1

The Turkish Trade Ministry postponed the compliance and transition date for the secure payment system in real estate sales from July 1, 2026 to Dec. 1, 2026. The ministry will authorize an integrator company to set up and operate the system.
